Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Ashy's preschool goes on some pretty fun field trips. This time they went to the pumpkin patch!

I love this picture of me and my little girl.

Ash and her friend had a lot of fun going through the corn maze together.

Carving the Pumpkin - Oct 2011

Carving pumpkins is always an experience. Emma loves scooping out the goo, Ash did a great job cutting out the pumpkin's face, and Dad, well, Dad went for the power tools this year. Way to simplify the job. :)

Quilts

Grandma Schwab and Aunt Kristine have made beautiful quilts for each of my girls when they were born. Grandma Charles was putting a book together of all the quilts they've made, so we took a few pictures and had better display them here, too. Quilts are life-long hugs, after all.

Missing Front Teeth

It's fun to be missing teeth with friends, especially when they're from the same place. These girls have a lot of fun playing together, and we've missed that Stevie started going to a different school. At least they still have play dates.

Hiking

Nick had the opportunity to go hiking up Darbie Canyon, through Fox Creek, and out Death Canyon with some of the guys from work. They had an incredible time and were able to see some beautiful country. I wish I could have tagged along, but I guess that would have ruined the whole "guy" thing. :) The scenery reminds me of why we LOVE to get out into the mountains and why the Tetons remain one of my favorite places in the world.

T-Ball - Sept 2011

Emma has been really good about trying new sports. This go around, she wanted to try T-ball. It was so much fun watching her. Despite getting hit in the head twice with the ball, she still loved playing. Her hustle was good, and she loved throwing the ball to her teammates. We need to work a bit on hitting, but to her credit, this was her first time playing at all, and they played coach's pitch. We all loved watching her play. Go Emma!

Preschool 2011-2012

Ash was just as excited to go to preschool as her sister was for first grade. It's fun to be big enough to go to school and to have your own backpack.

My little girl is off to her second year of preschool
